ROLLED OAT BISCUITS

      Ingredients:

      • 4 oz Plain Flour (100 g)
      • 4 oz rolled oats
      • 4 oz margarine
      • 3 oz sugar    (75 g)
      • 1 teaspoon syrup
      • 1 level teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

      Method:

      Place margarine, sugar and syrup in a pan, and melt over a low heat.
      Mix in dry ingredients and stir thoroughly.
      Place teaspoonfulls of mixture onto greased tray, and flatten slightly - allow room for spreading.
      Bake in moderate oven for 15 minutes (350 F; 180 C; Gas 4), or until golden brown.
