Just one burglary to report this week in Windlesham, midweek. Offenders forced their way in through the front door, stealing Audi car keys that had just been left on the hall table.

Needless to say the Audi on the driveway was stolen.

The keys were visible through a window adjacent to the front door and I've said this before but I will say it again, do not leave car keys on display, keep them hidden away out of sight in a non obvious place.

September 12

Five burglaries across the borough this week in Church Road, Windlesham, Queen Mary Avenue, Camberley, Sefton Close, West End and Dorchester Court, Camberley.

Force has been used to gain access to all premises and property stolen includes television, lap top, DVD's, golf clubs and on one occasion car keys just left lying around were stolen along with the car they belonged to.

(Last report for 2 weeks, will post next two weeks' reports on my return. Marion)

September 4

Three burglaries to report this week in School Road, Windlesham, Copse End, Camberley and Highland Road, Camberley.

Methods of entry include forced entry and a case whereby keys were left on the hallway floor and believed to have been hooked out through the letter box.

Surrey Heath Neighbourhood Watch Support Group has now also set up a new website designed to contain information and advice for Surrey Heath NHW members. It is still in its infancy but please have a look on www.surreyheathnw.net
