Surrey Heath
Borough Council Officer Receives The John Tucker Memorial Award The Award takes two forms, a monetary prize in the form of a cheque donated by the Surrey Branch and an engraved silver salver which is retained by the successful candidate donated by Surrey CEHO’s Group. Prior to joining Surrey Heath Borough Council Justine worked for various hotel companies around Europe in a variety of management roles. It was during this time that Justine chose to take her education and career in the path of Food Safety and Health and Safety. Justine holds a 2:1 Bsc (hons) in Hotel and Catering Management, which she gained from the University of Surrey. She then continued her education with the University of Birmingham where she graduated this year with an Msc in Environmental Health. Surrey Heath Borough Council offers staff the opportunity to learn and train whilst gaining experience in the field of Environmental Health. It is a career that is rewarding and varied with no two days the same. Cllr. Moira Gibson, Leader of Surrey Heath Borough Council said, “The Council is keen to widen opportunities to improve the staff of Surrey Heath’s knowledge and understanding as the residents and businesses rightly expect high professional standards. I congratulate Justine on this achievement and wish her all the success in her future at Surrey Heath.” For further information on
