Welcome to our first Newsletter of 2007. We’re delighted to report a growth in our membership and a highly successful networking evening in March this year.

Village Centre Hanging Baskets Coming Soon
May herald’s the arrival of the village centre hanging baskets. It’s our major charitable activity and expense, but one we’re delighted to do. We’ve retained our supplier; their regular watering team ensures the baskets remain in bloom throughout the season.

A Flying Start to Lightwater Business Networking
Our first business networking event of recent times on March 20th was a tremendous success. Our Joint Chairman, Tim Salter, was pushing people out of The Boardroom in Fredericks House well after 8.0 p.m. Everyone liked the format – early start, nice nibbles, wine/cool beer, informality, brief talk, and super venue.

We did promise you a repeat event, and so have organised:
Lightwater Business Networking Evening on Wednesday 6th June.
• Open to any Lightwater-based business, begins at 6.00 p.m. - leave when you like.
• Fredericks House, 39 Guildford Rd, Lightwater, entrance next to Carsons
• Drinks and nibbles provided
• Brief talk on “Make the most of the www.lightwaterbusiness.co.uk website”

LBA & Budgens event: local supplier/charity stalls, carols, music and refreshments
